I support this petition. It makes no sense to change the date. If its released in the summer then loads of people will be on holiday meaning that not that many people will want to go to the cinema. In November it will be cold and people will want to be doing indoor activities such as going to the cinema. Warner Brothers need to think about this.
How dare they have so much buildup, so many trailers before films, and the fall movie preview in magazine boast their film on their covers- and then Do This??
It's completely disrespectful to the fans. especially since the film is complete and ready to go.
I support this petition. I find it offensive and cruel to promote the movie with trailers announcing the November release and then move the date back another 8 months. I just saw the trailer before the Clone Wars movie. My children were very excited, but now I have to tell them "Sorry kids, some fat cats want to try and squeeze out another summer blockbuster instead of sticking to their word." We should collectively sue WB for false advertising. Didn't they do the same thing to Dark Night.

I support this petition. I am a marine wife facing spending my first wedding anniversary alone. I was so looking forward to the movie coming out,because I would have something to look forward to mere days later. I guess I will be alone and disappointed on that special day.
I propose a wide spread boycott of the July 17, 2009 release weekend so that Warner Brothers won't have the joy of breaking any box office records or making the kind of profits they so greedily feel are entitled to their company. The Thanksgiving weekend in the States is the biggest movie-going weekend, they could have just released it that weekend and made the green they desire. Even though I do not want to, I will be waiting until the DVD comes out if the release is July 17. I'm not letting them get what they want if we're not getting what we want.
Clearly they want to get as many people who watched the Dark Knight and by next summer ticket sales will have increased by at least 25 cents so they'll be labeled more successful than the Dark Knight. LAME!!!

I support this petition completely. I believe the movie should come out on its original release date. I promised my little brother who will turn 9 years old on november 21, 2008 that i would take him to see the movie as a birthday present. WB should not do this to hopeful fans!!!!!
