Moving the film is not good enough. If you want our money, stop screwing around and give us the film in November like originally promised.
You DO NOT change release dates at this late stage when fans have been looking forward to seeing the film.
You should have more consideration for the people whose money allows you to make films in the first place. Because without the film going public, you people would be nothing.
A bad move on your part, WB. The fans have been waiting long enough for this movie and now because of your GREED, WB, you want to change the date. It's just not cricket.
I support this petition. This is preposterous! Everyone knws that the Harry Potter movies are watched by Harry Potter fans, and they will watch it no matter the date. The excuses are ridiculuos, especially when it was stated that the movie was ready. I hope that this was all a misunderstanding, otherwise many people are going to be disappointed
I support this petition. Absolutely right I will be boycotting all WB productions - if this goes ahead then I shall be forced to boycott all non-HP WB releases in the future.
This is just an insult to all the HP fans out there. You know how hyped these movies are so why not move another one less so and everybody will go and see them no matter when they are released. The only WB films I'll go see in the cinema from now on will be the HP films. You've just lost a big cinema fan here, are you proud?
I support this petition. Down with WB's Desition. It is moruly wroge and inhuman. A selfish act wich the people of meany nations will not take lightly!
Why alienate this huge fanbase that has put the Harry Potter movies where they are, by changing the date just three months before it was supposed to come out? We are supposed to wait ELEVEN MONTHS more, and do it quietly – or even if we don’t do it quietly, no one cares. This whole thing is probably more about their “empty” summer 2009 (they don’t want their fall 2008 to be overstuffed with hits next to that “empty” summer 2009) than getting more money – this is the 6th movie, and not very kid-friendly or something people might pick without knowing the series and having seen the other movies. WB thinks they know we all are going to see the movie anyway, because we love HP and we love the movies (even though they’ve left stuff out and added stuff in to make it more marketable for those who’ve never read the books and never will). They think we have 11 months to mellow outl Well, there is more than one way to skin the cat. Many will see it free online, some will wait a little longer, some will sneak into the theatre under another ticket…
I intend to boycott WB. I will see the film, some way, some how, some day. But I will NOT go to the movies to see it. I will also boycott other big WB releases and tell everyone I know to do the same if they can. The fandom is everywhere, not only in the USA, so this affects other countries too (not that WB cares that much).
I support this petition.
I support this petition.
I am absolutely stupefied and disgusted.. It is absolutely ridiculous to make us wait for another year when it was so near.. WHY ????????????????
I support this petition. The release-date change is ridiculous, especially since there is no reason for it other than the hope that it will make more money in 7 months.
