I support this petition. You greedy people. My children and myself have been looking forward to this all year. At this rate I'll be collecting Social Security before the final chapter comes out. Remember who made this series popular...we the fans not the studio
I support this petition.Clearly, Warner doesn't know there are people behind Money. This decision is a shame, and please don't come all crying when people are copying movies on the net : it's because of people like you.
I support this petition. How can they do this to all the loyal Harry Potter/WB fans out there?!!! Delaying the movie a whole year so close to the release date!!
I support this petition. I have been anticipating watching the half-blood prince for over a year now. I am deeply troubled by Warner Borthers lack of compassion for Harry Potter fans. I find Alan Horn's comments to be untruthful and have no basis in fact. I would think that WB's stock holders would want more profit this year instead of less. And if Alan could not make enough money next year he should lose his job. But to make the Harry Potter fans wait for a movie that would bring them great happiness is a sin and a crime and I say for shame on Warner Brothers, Alan Horn, and anyone else who sopports this type of treachery.
I support this petition. This is B.S. Its just some old greedy bloke in a suite who think he can chop & Change the way we wants it too be. they don't really care about the fans all they REALLY care about is making money and don't care on who's toes they step too get what they want. I regret their decision about there stupid mistake.
One thing is to postpone the release of a film to improve it and finish it - another is to postpone its release because of MONEY. Which is just disgusting. Aren't they rich enough already? Really, this is just too sad and everything out of greed. I just wish i hadn't gone to the cinema to watch Batman, i shouldn't have handed over MY money to those greedy people of warner bros. Really, they have no shame on their faces to do this and even come with pretty speeches to try "to soften things up". I coudln't be more disappointed. I totally support this petition 100%.
UGH!!! I HATE WB!!! I was soooo waiting for the next Harry Potter movie, and then they say wait another 11 months!!! Jeeze.. me and a few other people were going to miss school for the premier! Now all of my plans are messed up! I want the original date!!!!!!
Yeah.. great idea guys.. alienate a core group of movie watchers that has made your studio what it is today, all in the name of the precious dollar. Nice job. And then on top of it, you try to make us feel better with your PR lines like "We are doing what is best for the film" and "we love our fans." Yeah.. ok. How stupid do you think we are? How is alienating the fans in the best interest of the film? Someone needs to get fired for this one..
It's even more evident now that they make it for monetary gain and not for the fans - Order of the Phoenix was rubbish story-wise they obviously havent gone back to the drawing board- fans are depending on their fix and they only seem to make it for mass ordiances not the real fans who come in the hundreds of millions (not the minority than say the Twilight film coming out) - make it for the fans or lose us tbh...
I support this petition. I've had HBP in my calendar since the day they announced the release date. How sad that they've decided to change at this late date & blamed the writer's strike, which only had to happen because of greedy studios.
WB should know since the movie is "finished and looks great" it will be pirated before July and a majority won't have to pay to see it. At least that's what i'm hoping...
I support this petition.
HOW DARE YOU WB! No consideration at ALL! You tease us with the trailor saying that it was going to be on November & the hype that it is going to be out this year & you pull this crap on us! Do you know how many people have been waiting for this movie to comeout? You are going to get MAJOR PISSED OFF Fans from this be cause this is war! This will be an EPIC FAIL if you do not put it out on November!!!
I support this petition.
Unfortunately no matter how many petitions, or how many signatures eventually make it to WB, the only pressure they will respond to would have to be monetary. WB understands, and rightly so, that no matter how much we gripe and groan and vent our anger, most of us are still going to line up like good little sheep and spend our $10 in the cineplexes, or our $18-$28 on the DVD, no matter WHEN they decide to release the movie. The HP franchise has a "built-in" audience and is a proven, guaranteed money-maker. The studio and the production companies, and the distributors know that there is absolutely no way the average HP fan will NOT want to see this movie, and that means they can can basically treat the fans like dirt and still reap their huge profits. The only way to effectively impact the situation is through the studio's pocket, and the only way to do that would be through an organized effective boycott of WB that involved a large enough number of people to be significant. I personally will not pay to see another WB production this year - there are other ways ;-)
you guys better put the release date back up or i will illegally download it and share it with my friends witch will be everyone who has an online computer and finds the link i will put up
I just want to express how utterly disgusted I am with Warner Bros. Inc. This is an outrage on behalf of the fandom! Once again, Corporate greed doesn't seize to amaze me. Unbelievable. Well, WB, you may want to re-edit your crappy teaser trailer to say NEXT EFFING SUMMER, since November is no longer in effect. Another reason why I'm turning on to Twilight, and atleast that movie comes out in December, as its supposed to. Shame.
Our 4 year old son saw the trailer a few weeks ago and has been asking us every day since then when he can go to the movie. We even had a countdown going. And he's been watching the first 5 movies over and over while waiting.
I would like to see one of the executives at Warner Brothers attempt to explain to him their "fiscal" decision to push back the release date. He is going to be crushed! Nice going WB!
Oh, and we will not watch any WB shows, movies, or support their sponsors until the Harry Potter movie is released.
I support this petition. I will rather download this movie illegaly than pay WB a single penny!! I will NEVER EVER AGAIN pay for one single bloody, stinking film of yours WB! WB you suck!! I hate you! And I will badmouth and BOYCOTT you for as long as I live!!
this is crazy! i wrote a strongly worded letter to the woman in charge of harry potter at the WB. Let's fill her inbox!

I support this petition. WB shouldn't have set a date release if they weren't sure. Now millions of fans are disappointed. It's not fair, especially for the youngest Harry Potter fans.
I support this petition. I will boycott EVERY WB movie from now on!! I want nothing to do with such a bunch of GREEDY GITS!! I WILL FORBID my future children to watch any of your crap productions WB!!! And I will talk to everyone I know badly about your stinking company!
I'm sorry, but in my book WB is acting very irresponsible. In school teachers set due dates for assignments and if I do not have it turned in by this date I will get in trouble. I will fail. This is just how it works, and it should work this way for businesses, too. If they say they are going to do something as huge as this by a particular date, they should be required to do so. There should be consequences for WB.
This is all about money. They said it themselves. With the writers' strike they are positioned to make more money next year. They do not care about their fans, no matter what they say. Don't they realize that it is because of the fans that the Harry Potter franchise is what it is. Harry would be nothing without his fans. We are the ones that helped make Harry a hit. We are the ones that have spent so much money on t-shirts and other HP collectables. We have made them millions.
So why do they treat us like this? Their words say they care, but their actions tell a totally different story.
