I support this petition. WB loves the fans, but they love rolling naked in money even more then the fans. How ironic that a series with characters that have good traits and that we can genuinely care for (with a few exceptions here or there) is in the hands of nihilistic corporates who just want more money! As a Star Wars fan, i'm still going to see Clone Wars, but i will extend my middle fingers in the air when the WB logo comes on.
It is unfair to the fans who have been looking forward to the release of this movie. Also, there is now going to be a huge gap in the middle of Harry Potter-related releases. This could impact the number of people who decide to go see the movie.
I think a huge mistake has been made here, a complete disregard for the fans who have been waiting have resulted in what is obviously a huge deal. I think WB may lose more money now, with all these people agreeing to boycott. I understand a business needs money, and such, but surely this decision could have at least been made earlier, rather than dropping the bomb only three months from the original release date?
Not only am I NOT going to pay to see HP6 in theaters (I'll purchase a ticket to another NON-Warner Brothers movie and sneak into HP), I am going to switch from Time Warner Cable (which is obviously directly affiliated with WB) to DirecTV. Well...I was going to do that anyway cause their cable/phone/internet service is absolute garbage, but now I'll do it with a big smile on my face.
I already hated them enough for butchering the HP stories with their not-so-great film adaptions, but now this has crossed the line.
Us fans care about the fandom! Not how much money it makes! I will do my best to boycott every WB movie untill HBP gets moved back to it's original release date!

In addition to skipping the opening week, I hereby promise to boycott all WB films, theater and DVD purchases, until HBP is released or moved back to November. Actually, I'm thinking of skipping the movie altogether and waiting for the DVD.

I am seriously going to boycott this movie if they don't give us back the November release date, and if they think I'm going to see any other WB movie they are sadly mistaken. I personally think that the WB got nervous about Twilight-which is stupid because most Twilight fans ARE HP fans too. (including me). So screw them-I'm probably going to see Twilight 3 or more times in theaters but I'm going to wait until HBP comes out on DVD to see that. At least SUMMIT can keep up with their release dates. RRRRRR.

I support this petition. I'm boycotting all WB movies until HBP and I'm boycotting opening weekend. They'll learn! I'm rallying everyone I know. They'll be ashamed! They'll have the worst opening weekend ever. GREEDY LEECHES!!!
I am quite upset at this news. So your reasons to push back a movie that you have finished already is for money. Way to encourage young people on morals and how to teach them the way to make decisions. The American way i suppose will you sit in your big offices, you deprive us of money we actually want to spend.
