What else can I say. I just hope that those people that made this catistrophic decision aren't sitting in their mansions with all the trimmings hiding their heads and ignoring the outcry of the fans. Not just fans but those who make it possible for Harry Potter to be what it has become. Without the fans there would be nothing. Dont cut off the hand that feeds you.
The WB has gone too far! First the butcher the books to make a more "profitable" movie and now they are changing the relase dates on us? not a few weeks of change but 8 FREAKING MONTHS!!
I say screw The Wb New Line should have gotten the rights to the books...they would have been longer and more accurate! Plus we the fans would be loved and respected!
I support this petition. I'm boycotting WB until they change the release date. And I was going to go see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2...not now. So WB, you've not only lost a ticket sale for Harry Potter, you've lost a ticket sale for ALL future WB movies. And I do mean ALL.
If the release date is not changed back I REFUSE to see this movie. And trust me; that wont' be so hard because the other movies have sucked. I've only seen them all because I'm such a die hard fan.

WB should not be all greed for the money! Money makes a person blind and now I believe this statement! Money ruins everything. I just tried writing a paragraph on how greedy and dumb the WB is in this change but it doesn't surprise me a great deal. Movie production companies see their profits and audiences declining and make attempts like this to "fix" it when the decline is merely a symptom of their continual bad decisions and excessive greed.

As if Warner Bro. doesn't have enough money! HP will be huge no matter what month it's released. They should move it back to November; the month they promised!
This is infuriating! It's bad enough that Warner Brothers is making the Deathly Hallows two movies that are going to be two years apart just because they can make more money and they don't want to make a long movie. t's completely unfair of them to view the movie's release date in the summer as a bigger hit than in the fall. yes, more people may be out in the summer to go see the film, but there's always much more competition as everyone wants a blockbuster summer. the decision is foul & completely unethical in consideration of the many beloved fans who've anxiously awaited the release of this film.

this ruined my day... and probably will kill me every day until i get to see that movie. when you're a true harry fan, you're not going to miss out on seeing this movie because of the time of year, batman, or anything else that WB is claiming to make November 21 a bad release date. this is terribly disappointing.
It is ridiculous, and wrong, that the studio has delayed the release of this movie, that so many of us have so eagerly anticipated, for so long!!!
It's not even a matter of revenue loss...They just wanted to capitalize, more...They decided to 'take a better slot', that was apparently, opened up, by the delay in the scripts of other movies. There is no real reason for this delay...Besides the greed of a studio, for whom a 'Holiday 2008' release wasn't good enough...But, selling it as a "Summer Blockbuster" might be.
Don't keep us from the magic, any longer!!! Rethink this stupid decision, and move the HP 6 release date back to November 21st, WB!!!!!
Come on Warner Bros. DON'T BE GREEDY think ABOUT it, there are very few films this holiday season to provide competition and I'm sure summer will be packed with them. Think of the fans, rather than just your obvious goal to get your hands on as much money as possible!
Warner's move on this film is a brazen display of capitalist greed so dastardly only Hollywood could support it.
If Warner ignores this petition, boycott opening weekend. The first weekend of a new release brings in the major revenue for any movie. Show Warner that if they're willing to make their fans wait another six months, the fans are willing to wait three days more to make a statement: remember where your money comes from, Hollywood, and do as you're bloody well told.
