We, the non-violent people of the planet, must put an end to regular people owning guns. It is not "understandable" to own a gun to hunt animals. Hunting animals is wrong. Humans, a type of animal, must recognize our connection to the other animals of this planet and not hurt other animals for any reason. We are related to all animals on this planet, so all the animals are our kin. We must push our awareness to encompass not only our close kin but all of our kin who are different species. Hunting should be outlawed along with guns.

This is about the most uneducated petition I ever came across to.. 1. While Chicago had guns outlawed, murders almost doubled. 2. CRIMINALS DONT FOLLOW THE LAW, this will only bar law following people to protect them selves. 3. If you are too stupid/irresponsible enough to own a gun, its your problem not mine.

I've successfully defended my life with a handgun, and didn't even fire a shot. I was approached from behind by two men, who just happened to be excaped convicts. When I became aware that they were coming for me, I just turned around so they could plainly see the Colt 1911-A1 .45 auto on my belt. They instantly did a 180. You are a complete fool if you think that outlawing handguns would actually affect how many criminals were able to get their hands on one. Simply outlawing them would only make yet another black market item, and the criminals would still have plenty of access to them. What would stop the criminals who are unable to track down a handgun from simply using a rifle or a sawed off shotgun? The only way to really cut down on crime is more harsh punishment for the offenders..... instead of a couple of years for armed robbery.... cut off the perps balls and beat him till he is black and blue... then throw him in a huge pit with all the other criminals. Each day lower down a big tub of water and oatmeal, and let them freaking just do whatever they want..... If someone tries to escape, shoot him in the head and feed his carcass to crocodiles, sharks or whatever…….. I think most people would reconsider breaking the law if breakin them actually meant something besides putting them in a well heated, well fed, protected place. They were the ones who decided to break the law, as far as I am concerned they do not deserve the right to be treated so well.
