If they banned the harry potter books because it leads children to witchcraft they will also have to ban just about half the books found in libraries. Even Macbeth written by Shakespeare.

Read "Looking for God in Harry Potter" by John Granger They don't promote sorcery. In fact there is no sorcery in the books at all. There is a big difference between the magic in Harry Potter and sorcery. The first book was supposed to be titled "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" but was changed by the publisher, not Rowling, because few people want to read philosophy books.
