why is the bible being brought up?and please guys do your research its plain as day that being gay is a sin.but why should it matter??why is any religion playing a part in my right to marry?why should any faith have any say in whether or not I can live out my life with the one I love just as anyone else can?and as for the definition and sanctity of marriage-the dictionary definition does indeed mention one man and one woman.and when was the dictionary written?recognize the time frame,sociopolitical climate and the author.daniel webster,the author,was in fact gay.and the history of marriage is not at all heterosexually based,as early as ancient egypt same sex couples were honored and valued parts of society.and if you want to defend the institution of marriage try banning divorce since over half of all your beloved holy straight marriages end that way. using a dictionary definition or a religion as an argument against the forward advancement of equality for all humans is truly ignorant and pathetic.this is an entirely secular issue which has no basis in faith and should be settled as such.and that's the point when it comes down to it,there is not one single logical,secular, legal reason against marriage equality.which is the obvious reason for religious fanatacism and scare tactics.can anyone argue that?ill be damned if my happiness depends on the straight majority's feelings and religious convictions.if your straight then I love and value you as a fellow member of the human family.but with all due respect you have no right to an opinion much less the decision making in this case.we are all equal and all deserve the same rights and priveleges.does anyone have a rebuttal?

This is real and everyone should be equal.
