OK! Magazine, a US-based gossip magazine, has chosen to run the last photograph taken of Michael Jackson while being resuscitated by EMTS as the cover picture for their Michael Jackson tribute issue. This is, aside from being a low blow to a musical icon and pathetic attempt to revive their failing business, a violation of the basic rights of human beings. The editors and owner of OK! Magazine are violating not only Michael Jackson's privacy, but the dignity of his family, friends, and fans. Please sign this petition if you believe that it is a basic human right to protect the privacy and dignity of your loved ones when they cannot protect themselves. OK! Magazine has run the photo. We need you more than ever to recruit others to sign this petition, so keep tweeting on your twitter, sending emails to everyone you know, and contacting your local news source. Although most of the world failed to appreciate Michael Jackson while he was living, this is the time that we can do something to STOP the disrespect.

The media has become irresponsible and it's about time somebody has said something about it.

It has come to my attention that not only OK! Magazine, but ET and the Insider have broadcasted this image on television and on their websites. Please join the fight against releasing this inhumane photograph ANYWHERE; it has done enough damage to his fans--I cannot imagine how his family and children feel.
