Hello, and welcome to "Help Save the Old Cartoons! This is no ordinary petition, this super petition is being shared around the net! My friends and I are spreading the petition around several different websites which works more than you would think! Our goal is to bring back not only old cartoons but real shows as well. These cartoons and shows were very popular among kids and teens alike and the channels that hosted these classics took them off for a new generation. Unfortunatly that new generation was horrible in many more ways than one. The cartoons and shows lost their magic; the new shows are meant to lower the I.Q.s of whoever watches them, too much blood and gore than should be allowed (cartoons are supposed to be entertaining, not a horror fest), some are even gross enough to be called disgusting: involving detailed puking, bleeding, picking of noses and teeth, and gas from the rear. I really do not want to continue on, because I'm becoming grossed out and disgusted myself just thinking about it.

What scares me too is that these shows are making children believe that they need to be cool and popular. I'm wondering what happened to induviduality. I grew up being told I am me and there is no one like me and that is just as it should be. Now, it's the number one thing to dye your hair blonde, straighten it, and wear pink for girls with a tan. Boys are thought to have spiked hair, designer clothes, tan, and muscles galore. I don't want a robot or clone. These shows don't need to be telling children and certain teens to be something they're not. At the risk of sounding like a Hallmark Card, I like you just the way you are without all the cool and popular.

The old shows were entertaining with high quality animation (not computer generation but real hand drawn characters that took talent ((no offense to anyone using CG))), actual humor that was safely bordered between children, teens and higher, and it was fun for the entire family.

We grew up with these shows, all the way from Bugs Bunny to the Animaniacs. We grew up with Wakko, Yakko, and Dot, Johnny Bravo, Bugs, Bonkers, Louis (Even Stevens), and so many other lovable characters to be pushed aside for brain rotting programs like Chowder, Hannah Montana, Ben Ten, Flap Jack, El Tigre, Songebob Squarepants, Camp Lazlo, Total Drama Island, George of the Jungle, and so many others, I can't stand it. T.V. doesn't need the life of the family to revolve around, but it can be used for bonding. The programs airing are only rotting brains, not help build them.

If you believe what we have written, if you have nodded your head throughout the entire thing, or just think they what we're doing is worth it, please sign the petition, tell your friends and family (a random hobo on the street), and put a link to us where all can see. If we can get enough people to sign this, we can send this off to the producers and hot shots of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney, Toon Disney and so on and we have a chance to fight and win.

We need your real first name then we need you to tell us why you want the old shows back after that list several of your all time favorite shows and cartoons!

We believe that even if it doesn't work, it was better to try and fail than give up before starting.

We are not like other petitions you have seen we have contacts to the networks, and voice actors. So please give us your signature to help us; WE are not giving up this time!
