Hilary Duff is NOT a good role model. I've heard otherwise countless times and that the people that disagree are often called "racist", "lesbians", "gay", "jealous", "****ers", "*****es", and countless other vulgar insults that are really not nessesary (and don't even make sense half the time). But being "anti-Hilary" you get it all from the "fans" that think they know her. HERE are the reasons that I don't think Duff is a good role model:
Reason 1:
Her relationship with Joel Madden, who is at least five years her senior. Whether they're friends or OTHERWISE it just isn't right. Honestly, she's giving the impression that it's okay to be "seeing" an older [way older, mind you] man when you're still UNDER-AGE. How old are her fans? Most are somewhere inbetween seven and thirteen. Is that really something you would want your child doing? Thinking that it is okay to do this? Last time I checked it was ILLEGAL. What about the time we're in? Where there are girls being RAPED [not to say that anything is "really going on"], in a world where it is not safe for a woman to walk down the street alone at night. It's not safe anymore, and giving the impression it is, is only a resipe for disaster.
