I have had many experiences with Mrs.Robertson where I have had no respect shown to me. A friend and I made a few myspaces involving a few teachers and one student, I was punished unfairly, I was suspended for 10 days and not allowed back at the middle school and placed in alternative education, my friend received no punishment. Incidents involving illegal drugs have not been treated as severe as my incident.
More unnecessary rules have been put in place too,most recently
some of our 8th grade cheerleaders have received referrals and placed in ISS for participating in the high school spirit week. Now will have no spirit week because of this minor incident. Last year she banned our yearbook signing which has always been a tradition many years. School is a place to have fun with your friends and learn at the same time, I have talked to many students and parents who feel Mrs.Robertson is abusing her power. This not a form of defamation but my way of bringing positive changes to BFMS. I am not currently at BFMS but I have the priviledge of going to the Gereau Center on Franklin days,the things I have heard about Mrs.Robertson would upset parents and bring down the schools image. If the removal of Mrs.robertson is not chosen
than i would like to see a medium suspension at the least. It is not my goal to offend Mrs.robertson or the administration of Benjamin Franklin Middle School. I am asking for a positive change,one that all the students,parents,and staff can all agree on. You can help be part of this change by signing this petition and letting your voice be heard.
