Johnny Damon has recently surprised Red Sox fans by signing with the New York Yankees. Apparently, $40 million is not enough for Johnny to stay in Boston, a city he claims to "love." I mean, how can a person survive off just $10 million a year? Therefore Johnny is packing up to play for the New York Yankees, of all the teams probably the only one that could pay him more than the $40 million offered by the Sox.

It's all too much for a Red Sox fan to take. Johnny Damon, the "idiot" that just loves to play, selling out to the highest bidder. Johnny Damon, with his long hair and beard, willing to conform to whatever stupid grooming rules Steinbrenner makes up for a bit of extra cash? This guy sets himself up as Jesus, but then sells out as soon as the time is right. Thou Hypocrite!

We have to take a stand. Johnny Damon was willing to sell us out for some extra pocket change. He was willing to stab us in the backs and go to the one team that would hurt any Red Sox fan. If he went to L.A. or the Mets, that's one thing... but the Yankees? What a kick in the balls!!

Therefore those undersigned are in agreement that Johnny Damon is a disgusting, greedy, money grubbing hypocrite. His behavior exemplifies everything that's wrong with America. The undersigned agree that they will not buy goods from any company that does business with Johnny Damon. Any company that pays this man money is just feeding his greed and as far as the undersigned are concerned, are kicking Red Sox fans in the balls just like Johnny did himself.
