As a docent on the Battleship New Jersey Memorial and Museum, I recognize that our guests appreciate that our great retired warships represent the preservation of our country's traditions and legacy. I support the preservation of USS as a memorial and museum near the beautiful JFK Library at Boston.
Why should this be torn apart?? The ship is history and honors a great president. We maintained battleships and this should also be preserved.This should be signed by the former JFK crew members.
We, the Navy, of which I'm a 24 year veteran, sank the USS America, and while I agree this country is being sunk below its worthy image, we need to preserve this ship named after one of our great Presidents who maintained and upheld the constitutional foundation of this great country. SAVE the USS John F. Kennedy!!

I served in the US Air Force during Pres. Kennedy's administration; regardless, the JFK needs to be preserved at all costs. She is a piece of our nation's military might.
