And, beginning next Friday, February 9th, Psychopathic Records will proudly begin the first in an ongoing series of underground music match-ups collectively known as the Battle Zone. Two bands enter, one leaves supreme. Drawing upon the vast forces of underground music, we're pitting two songs from two groups against each other in head-to-head competition. And it's up to you to decide who is victorious! That's right, after listening to both songs, you get to choose which of the two is the Winner, and which is the Loser. Only one can be better than the other, and only you can decide who that is!

"So, who's up first?" you ask. Well, you'll just have to wait for next Friday to see. But, the more important question is "Who's up next?" In the weeks to follow and continuing onward from there we'll be taking online applications for Battle Zone contestants. All you need is an online MP3 and some hype to go with it. We'll start taking applications in a couple of weeks to give you some time to get your game together, but there's no rush: the Battle Zone will be here to stay. If you've got the moxy to throw your best work in front of the masses for their review, then we've got a spot for you to battle it out! And don't worry: we'll make a post when you can begin sending in applications.
