I find it quite amusing and yet very irritating that CTV think they have the right to say we are no eligible to redistribute ‘Awake In A Dream’ performed by Canadian Idol phenomenon Jacob Hoggard Of Hedley. To allow the song in the first place to slip into the world wide web, and to become a mp3 was their own doing. This little slip gave whoever it fell upon full rights to give it to friends, family; and to post their views on it. To allow Theresa and Kalan to have their demos out is fair, but the thing is Jacobs demo is available - and should be allowed to be given out through the CTV message board, sites - or via anyway possible. Why not allow us to hear how the third candidate sang the song, its not like it’ll change anything? Or is it the fact that Jacob did it better then Kalan and it looks bad for the television show and CTV its self. Well here is us saying screw you.

I love Jacob Hoggard and Hedley. But Jacob is an artist and writes and performs his own songs. He isn't in Canadian Idol anymore and is a huge superstar. I don't think he would want to be performing songs that were written by someone else. I definetly think he would give an interesting twist to the song but it isn't his own material. jacob is a singer/songwriter/perform er.

I'm glad Jaccob never got to sing that song cause it sucks... and in retrospect I'm glad he didn't win Idol cause then he would have been forced to conform. sing their songs, their way. He's way better off! He has an awesome CD an awesome band... it's better this way. Let Kalan sign his crappy little conformist song

I used to think Kalan was so cute because of that look he gave at the end of still and everything but i can't stop thinking that i was so stupid in liking Kalan better. I miss Jacob sooooooooooo much and I want Jacob to be able to release Awake in a Dream!!!!!!!! Even though Hedley reox my sox!!!
