Park Jaebeom, leader of the k-pop group 2PM, has announced his intentions to leave the group.

Jaebeom has come under fire from netizens and anti-fans for his MySpace controversy. The controversy revolves around recently surfaced messages exchanged between 2PM's leader and a friend which expressed his frustration with Korea during the time. Jaebeom has already expressed a heartfelt apology, but unforgiving and inflexible netizens created a petition titled "Jaebeom should commit suicide" which has accumulated 3,000 signatures. In the face of pressure from antis Jaebeom decided to leave 2PM and is leaving Korea for the United States.

The cruelty of netizens and antis has gone too far this time. 2PM's success and future ambitions have been destroyed by this thoughtless act. The release of their new album and their plans for an American debut appear bleak and unlikely.
