posers are pissing me off..there's this one girl at my school who
thinks she's so punk rock just because she knows who green day is.
MTV ****ing killed green day, and exposed them to mindless zombie posers. i
get so pissed off when the preppiest girl in school goes "OMG, i
love green day sooooo much! i love billie joe! that one song is
awsome...." it's annoying. and the poser girl thinks
she's MCR's #1 fan just because she's seen the
helena video. she's such a dumass...she asks people to call her
mrs. way....that just made me so ****ing mad....i mean, you've
heard two songs from the band, and all of the sudden, you're the
lead singer's wife. green day was punk, and they can stay

then they go round calling me a loser cause im listening to
ironmaiden,slayer,misfits , and other forms of "real"punk
or metal. **** em all. i say we tell them that greenday my chemical
romance,simpleplan, and good charlotte are having a show in this room, then
once all the poser emo punk ****s are inside we announce the show has been
cancelld, by this time at least half of the people in there would have slit
their wrists. then with the survivors we send to space because the place
where the show was is actualy a secret rocket and then we dump them out so
they can get caught in plutos gravitaional pull and they orbit pluto giving
pluto a few million more moons. |

i don't know much about emo, but punk rock wasn't a fashion
trend, it was a state of mind. unfortunately, it has been in hibernation
since the late 70's, and posers are attempting to take its place.
true punks were pissed off with the mainstream and being looked down upon,
so created their own revolution. there wasn't a punk dress code
(like studs, leather and whatnot) because they couldn't afford it.
it was all do-it-yourself. they picked up trash and made it into an outfit.
also, they didn't have to only like a certain type of music. true
punk rock was, in fact, doing what you wanted and not caring what anyone
said about it. as long as you were true to yourself and truely pissed off
with how ****ty the bloody world treated you, you were a true punk. sadly,
only the fakes have survived, as with any good movement. |

these bands actually dont care if they r punk or not. they really couldnt
give tow toss' about the whole 'punk' sence and if they r in
it. if these bands r out there doing their own thing and writing songs for
kids about life and their personal experiences who does it really harm? if
it helps some kids. great. if it creates 'posers' coz they think
its kewl to be punk..then possibly not great. but really what can u do
