I'm 19 and I'm a Goth. I come from a whole family of Goths. Some people think Goth is just a kid thing, but it's really not. My Gramuh is 55 and she's a Goth. I don't see why kids are so attracted to Goth in the first place, really. Is there something immature about it that I don't know about? Me and all the rest of my family (well at least the majority of it) plan on staying Goth for the rest of our lives. The reason I said the majority of my family is because there are some non-Gothic people in my family. I think Goth is something you have to make a really mature decision about becoming. There are people who decide to become Goth way to soon without considering the consequences and realize that they can't handle being alienated and tormented, which is unfortunately one of the biggest problems us Goths have to deal with. Before becoming Gothic you should be serious about your involvement in our culture. If it ends up just being a phase that you grow out of then that means you're a poseur, and you don't want to be a fucking poseur, do you?????????????
