I had to grow up with sisters brainwashed by MTV they liked Nsyc,Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, now they like every rap song that comes out and cheezy wannabe reggae music with hip hop like beat in the backround they even know what real reggae is and they don't want to accept the fact that a lot of the groups they liked used to be on Disney Shows. I don't even think MTV music is even real music I think it's a bunch of garbage MTV tries to push on the Teenagers

because MTV is ruining are generation. The rap is one thing (look at #31) and all of these mindless shows like "next" and "date my mom" has been the main shows that alot of teens watch. even the so-called-reality show "laguna beach" is setting the example of what every girl should be: a shallow, rich airhead. MTV also loves Paris Hilton. She has no talent at all and would just be another face if she wasnt rich. what really made me mad was when i was watching the Nickelodeon Kids Choice awards with my 8-year old broter(nick. is owned by viacom, which also owns MTV) i was shocked to see a half-naked chic dancing during Pinks "stupid girls" perfomance. So viacom is using Nickelodeon to get even the younger kids hooked on MTV. This is really having a toll on our generation

American Society in general doesn't understand the value of good music. When the top selling artists can't play an instrument or write a melody if their life depended on it, or come up with any cool sounds without sampling stuff from another artist or generation, or hold a tune without the studio filters you know that MTV has ruled the day!

MTV should be killed as soon as possible. Why? Because they are no longer Music Television. All they play now is crappy reality shows every hour of every day. Who the crap cares that there are people in california who have crappy cars and who the crap cares about people who would date someones mom just to go on a date with some hot girl? I don't. And when MTV does play music, it plays nothing but hardcore gangster rap or britney spears or crappy sellout pop punk. In other words, Satan Music. But of course, they only play music for a few hours every morning. MTV is brainwashing our nation, making every single white teenager in the country want to act all gangster and stupid. Because of MTV, over 50% of people at my high school are stupid wannabe gangsters who think they're cool. Thanks MTV. Thanks for ruining my high school, and the world. I hope you burn in hell along with rap and country music. And if you refuse to die, at least bring back headbangers ball.

We at MTV, pride ourselves on our quality programing. We do this for the benefit of our viewers and we are definetly not using mind control on you so that we can overthrow the world leaders. We only play what is popular because that is what most people want to here. If you like something that other people don't like, it means you enjoy inferior music because they aren't good enough for MTV. Rock was looked down upon when it was first released, just like rap. Now, rock is the most popular genre of music. Rap is coming to over take it though. So sit back, turn on MTV and remember, if you don't watch MTV. You aren't cool, if you aren't cool, the cool kids will beat you up.
