I think it should be legalized to further curb future revolutions be it
peacefull civil unrest which leads to something else. This problem is like
a dormant volcano that has the potential to eurupt and shake the very
ground that we walk on.
We have been using it for thousands and thousands of years and they think
they can get away with taking it away from us. They are already murdering
around 45 thousand of us each year while getting away with it, and upon
that they are crossing the line by trying to make it a crime to smoke or
even possess marajuana. What's wrong with wanting something that is
safe for a change. |

Well the goverment already makes millions off the arrest of those who have
possesion of marijuana, but they also spend money keeping these people in
jail. I believe that if marijuana was legal, the goverment would make
double the money and it would aslo take the negitiave fact of houseing
criminals useing so much of the goverments money, Its a very good cause
this petition,i am in full support of legalization of marijuana being
convicted of pssesion in the past, i know the strain it can cause as weed
is harmless. People die more everyday from drinking alcohol than any other
substance, marijuana has no bad effects, as crack,
herion,XTC,Alcohol,ect..e ct..all have a numorus amount of deaths under
thier belt. The goverment has to think of thigns like this but as long as
people act stupid they wont do it, we have to show them that its not going
to hurt our lifes but only make it better. |

I believe the Government, pays out to much money to arrest, convict and
keep in jail people who smoke marijauana. I believe it is harmful and is a
waste of government money. If the Government would legalize mariauna it may

Marijuana is good. It's less harmful than alcohol and tobacco. When I
smoke Marijuana it makes me happy, it acts as an antidepresant. They should
prescribe it to people with depression and cancer patants. It good for
treating lots of illnesses. Marijuana should be legal for everyone. I think
more cities arround the country should host a hemp fest each year. |

My grand mother was a wild woman. We would drag race after a night on the
town. But weed HELL NO! Besides she was kind of vain, and she thought It
smelled like drity socks. So she wasn't into it. May be the dirty socks
were her thing. Then she got sick, the Cancer meds,would kick in she would
be out for hours, sometimes all day. She would be so hungry but
couldn't eat.So I put some "Weed" in a pot of melted butter
and cooked it with her food. Again She didn't like the way it smelled
but the affects of her eating. Was fonominal. At first only a bite or two,
because of the nausia. Then it would set in, she would get high, and that
was great. Then she would get "The Munchies". And tear into what
ever I brought. We had a bar-b-que resturant. and I love to cook so she got
only the best of all of us. She died 6 months later,my friend,Grandma, she
was gone but that weed ****,it sure helped her battle Cancer |

plant, but some man-made pill that gives 80-year old men erections is

Pot should be legalized for the simple reason that the only reason it was
made ILLEGAL was because it's so easy to grow at home that the
government wouldn't be able to put a tax on it. In a country where the
roads are supposed to be paved with gold, the government should stop making
things illegal because THEY can't make money from it, and re-pave the
