I support HD-DVD because it is the natural and fully compatible next genaration DVD. I want to use my huge DVD library for years to come... and I'd like to keep the name DVD... I'd hate to go out and buy "blu-rays"... BRs are too complicates, expensive... fragile. they are s**t
As a loyal customer I personally own many LG DVDs. I would like to purchase them again in the HD-DVD format as soon as you make them available.
Thanks,
Eddie
Why not support hddvd and make more money. I had a blu ray player. I took it back the same day. DVD quality. It sure shows you how Sony thinks. Put out crap even when it's not ready. HDDVD ALL THE WAY!!
You have so many great movies in your catalog. Please don't deny yourselves the opportunity to make money off of the larger installed base of HD-DVD players when you release movies in HD on disc.
as a videophile, HD-DVD has more than delivered on satisfying me. Blu-Ray has failed to deliver and I will never adopt this technology for movie-viewing even if it were to become successful.
The recent purchase of my Toshiba HD-A1 has been totally satisfying. It truly delivers on the promise of high definition. After viewing a number of titles I purchased with the unit I have decided to stop purchasing standard DVD titles. In effect, I guess you guys are forcing a Lionsgate boycott on my wallet.
HD-DVD is cheaper to manufacture which means the savings will be passed onto the consumer, which means I will buy more HD-DVD's. Sony is notorious for over-hyping products without backing up their claims with real world examples. Please Lions Gate, reconsider going strictly Blu-Ray and at least release titles in HD-DVD as well.
