I urge you to support HDDVD- I own over 20 of your films on DVD and would like to upgrade them to HDDVD- I have purchased 4 HDDVD players for x-mas gifts this year and Iurge you to support this market
I support This Petition because as the proud owner of and xbox 360 which is releasing an HD drive in Nov and the Toshiba HD-A1, I'd like to be able to purchase the Punisher, Devils Rejects, etc..on HD. I have no plans for a Blu Ray including PS3 mainly because of cost but also because of lack of support from Universal
because the HD-DVD format has already proven to be equal to if not better than the Blu-Ray format. Despite the larger capacity of the latter, HD-DVD still edges it out in quality.
I am not anti-Bluray as such, it's just that HD-DVD has proved to be the better format thus far. Please don't ally yourself with a format that gives worse picture and sound quality (at least based on many of titles already released currently).
Don't lose out on customers!
HD-DVD got better pic and sound quality than Blu-ray, and I didn't even mention the Hybrid HD-DVD and DVD.
You know, American want cheaper product, then you can make profit w/ Quantity and Quality "It's a Win Win Stituation!"
your customers want the best solution, if you try to force customers to make their format decision based on your content, you are likely to severely reduce your potential market
I want HD content and I want it now. I'm not here to wait until BD players dropped in price, I'm not here to wait until BD get their acts together.
In order to get HD content NOW, the only format that delivers is HD-DVD
I'm not usually an early adopter of new technology, but I purchased a Toshiba HD-A1 based on it's objectively superior approach to HD. Most, if not all, future DVD purchases I make will be in the HD-DVD format. This is simply an additional revenue stream opportunity.
HD DVD has delivered on the promise of High Definition picture and sound at an affordable price. Publish both formats and let the market decide the winner!
HDDVD is the superior, more affordable format, without all of the technical challenges of BD.
Studios supporting two competing formats will only be bad for the consumer, the studios, and the industry.
Lions Gate as a HD DVD owner I need your support to release your movies not only in Blu-Ray but HD DVD. This will allow the customer to decide which format should exist and not the movie studios.
