It's a little pittiful that Living Single and Friends are basically running off of the same subject line and popular, but only one can be a DVD set. Thanks Sonja, I will keep this going.

okay all these other sitcoms are being released, why not living single,?the show made me laugh, maybe its not emmy award winning material,no blood , guts and violence that the world craves, but some of us just want to be entertained,,,bring it on!
I absolutely love this show! In my opinion, it was the foundation upon which Friends was built on. Friends may have been more successful, but I think Living Single was funnier, better written and had more substance and value than Friends.
I have always enjoyed "Living Single" it was one of the few tv series that actually speaks to the African American experience in todays society. If I can walk through the aisles of any superstore and see seasons 1-5 of "Friends" (a show that I seriously believe outlived its time.) I see no reason why a show with the Caliber of Living Single should not be. I would definitly buy the entire series (the only other series I have is Farscape) and give it as gifts as well.
I loved this show, and would very much so like to see it put on dvd. Sinclair and Overton were sooo cute, Regine and her momma, oh my goodness,they were so hillarious, Max and Kyle were too funny as well, and The Queen she speaks for herself. I love this show to this day. I would totally buy the dvd!
I love this show and still reflect on some of the hilarious, "real" episodes...Living Single, projected black, positive, sisterly love.. without the bashing of our race or subjective women in a negative.. which we tend too see on other shows and videos..Thanks to this show.. I found my perfect wedding song "With This Ring"..((Sinclaire & Overton's wedding)) which was perfomed by Queen Latifah and Kyle Barker!!

have this series on 18 old VHS tapes that DESPERATELY need to be replaced with DVD. This was one of the funniest shows that has ever been on and I, for one, would absolutely add it to my DVD collection. PLEASE!!!
This show was awesome. I do understand why it had to leave the air, but still wish it hadn't. I loved this show. I felt like I was one of them. And if I can't get the show back, DVD/VHS is the next best thing.
This series was definitely a pioneer for hip shows that target young audiences. It's a HUGE injustice that Friends became the phenomenon and that Living Single stayed ignored. It's easy to see how much Friends copied LS, the theme, the dialogue , the hip feel. However, the characters on LS were much more REAL, much more INTERESTING , and SO much more INTELLIGENT and BELIEVABLE. They also showed Black young people as REAL and NOT as TV STEREOTYPICAL!!! I think Living Single is the best comedy show ever made, and like so many of Fox's shows, it is gutsy and it STILL feels FRESH after all there years. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE release it on DVD, and we the Fans will buy you out!!!!
