We need a format that has ben dedicated to a high quality A/V experience since day one, not a paper spec war. BD now finds itself limited to 20-25GB and can't seem to let go of MPG2.
As a consumer, I don't care about the political battles. I want more movies in the non compromised HD DVD format!
Thank you for your time.

To whom it may concern,
I'm the new owner of the Toshiba HD DVD player. I currently own almost 400 DVD's and spend lots of my disposable income on home entertainment. I believe the HD DVD platform to be as good as or better than its competition Blu-Ray at half the cost. As a consumer I would urge Fox Home Entertainment to support the new HD DVD format. It's were I plan on spending my money.
Thank you,
Scott Klump
It now appears HD-DVD has better encoding and picture quality than BluRay, at half the price. This leaves consumers with approximately $500 more for software, i.e. your movies!
my family and I love the Home Theater Experience.
We used to purchase 3-4 DVD's per week and have taken the plunge with HD-DVD. I look forward to enjoying our favorite movies in Hi-Def.

HD-DVD looks like a great format with a solid underlying cost structure. By supporting both formats MGM would let the consumers choose rather than try to force them one way.
HD-DVD has proven itself as a valid format with inventories selling out and Toshiba being attentive to customer needs with firmware updates. Blu-Ray is having quality and production issues with both LESS capactiy and an older codec. PLEASE release your films in HD-DVD!
HD DVD is incredible! I refuse to pay twice as much for a Blu-Ray player with equal or worse (w/MPEG2) PQ, as well as fewer features (no ethernet jack, no audio CD playback, etc). Which do you think the regular consumer would be more likely to purchase??
Hello, I won’t be buying a Blu-ray player under any circumstances. But I sure would like to be able to buy MGM HD-DVD's. Please consider it.
Thanks
