Its going to hard enougth getting the public to accept a new format without the complications of calling it "blu-ray" and with blu-ray costs. HD-DVD is the only one that maybe accepted

HD-DVD got better pic and sound quality than Blu-ray, and I didn't even mention the Hybrid HD-DVD and DVD.
You know, American want cheaper product, then you can make profit w/ Quantity and Quality "It's a Win Win Stituation!"
HD DVD is what your customer wants, better quality, lower manufacturing cost, DVD compatibility. Think of the needs of your customers, not the needs of Sony Shareholders
I want HD content and I want it now. I'm not here to wait until BD players dropped in price, I'm not here to wait until BD get their acts together.
In order to get HD content NOW, the only format that delivers is HD-DVD
I'm not usually an early adopter of new technology, but I purchased a Toshiba HD-A1 based on it's objectively superior approach to HD. Most, if not all, future DVD purchases I make will be in the HD-DVD format. This is simply an additional revenue stream opportunity.
HD DVD has delivered on the promise of High Definition picture and sound at an affordable price. Publish both formats and let the market decide the winner!
I enjoy the HD DVD format, would love the studio support, and would be sure to support that decision with a ton of my hard-earned case going toward the released titles. Please, release on HD DVD...
