It is, of course, your server, which you may use as you like. But it is also my money, and I am more than ready to vote with it, and go to another, less lazy, less judgmental, and less hidebound journaling site. The ball is in your court.

as a victim of child molestation by more than one person (one that would be classified as incest, one not), i use fiction as an outlet to cope with my personal tragedy when I am feeling overwhelmed. To have that outlet taken from me, in a misguided attempt to crack down on the perpetrators of these atrocities, is more damaging than I can possibly say. I do not appreciate being classed with the same people who have done this to me. I am not a predator, and I take great offense at being classified as one.

I never thought I would see the day when I would have to fear expressing myself on the internet. It's the world wide web; get over yourselves, WFI, and fight crime where it is actually occurring. There is a strong difference between someone who expresses themselves through writing and art, and someone who wants to rape a child, or anything of that sort. You are being ridiculous, and not achieving anything more than angering mass hordes. Good job, if your intent is persecuting innocent individuals and artists. I find your infringement of my personal freedoms to be offensive and dangerous. Does this mean I can ask LJ to delete you? Go take the time and energy you are wasting on this, and do something USEFUL.

It's not funny anymore when genuine, just-for-fun fiction communities get suspended along with pedo communities (which I applaud, the former, not so much). LJ bowed too fast to SixApart/its advert companies/WFI that it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I won't be renewing my paid account, that's for sure. Thank God that there's still GJ...

There have been several genuine pedophilic communities deleted-- this is good. However, anything written in a purely fictional context (with disclaimers and all) is literary and should be regarded as such. Frankly, the fact that a discussion community about Lolita was banned is borderline disgusting, and banning adult Harry Potter fanfiction communities is just ridiculous. It. Is. Fiction. Its called fanfiction for a reason.

Personally a fan of fandom incest and the ocassional yuri. Livejournal wants to keep corruption from children? That's not their job; it's the parents' job, and it's the parents who should realize that even if LJ doesn't have it, somewhere else will. Rule 34, amirite? (Also, I kind of thought that this was the point of F-locking community posts. Excuse me for thinking it was obvious, LJ.)

If I had known Livejournal would censor me and my friends because one bone-headed group of people can't wrap their heads around things that lie beyond their limited scope of experiences, I wouldn't have paid for one year of paid time. I am disgusted by the unfair treatment of Livejournal's users and the suspension of my *right* to free speech. Fanfic communities like p0rnish_pixies in no way promote illegal activities or corrupt children simply because they list incest or underage as their interests. Those are fanfic categrories, not a political agenda!Fact is that these suspensions destroy a lot of work and effort. Writing fanfic is not just a hobby - many writers use fanfic to express themselves and to work through their own personal issues in a way that is most therapeutic and least traumatic for them. Deleting their efforts is almost a personal attack on everyone in these communities.I can only repeat: I am disgusted.~ sera

My account 'onewavebreaks' was permanently suspended for listing 'child-molestation, incest, and nepiophilia' as interests. I listed those three things because I was molested as a child. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been molested and raped in the past and that I support crime fighters and organised groups who work with law enforcement to catch paedophiles and imprison them. Clearly, my journal was suspended and a year's worth of work on my profile and other aspects of my journal are gone because of this ridiculousness. Did anyone even bother to look at my journal and see who I am? Did anyone even bother to realise that I had recently been writing about my rape six years ago? No? Didn't think so. This is disgusting and unjust and something I will never forgive.
