I need soccer down here. I still don't understand why University of Miami doesn't have a soccer team. Soccer is a huge market in South Florida if placed in the right area.
after hearing this on gol tv i couldnt wait to sign. With the right owners and a soccer specific stadium in the heart of miami, with well known players i have no doubt that soccer will be huge in miami. bring it on!!!!
I think a MIAMI MLS team will be amazing for the league and for the city. Imagine if a huge soccer star such as Ronaldo came to Miami - it would bring in huge amounts of revenue for the city and the team.
A city like Miami with its international flair and demography needs a MLS soccer team. Get some talent in the team, one or two big names from south america and get the ball rolling! I swear I would support the team big time.
this will be great for the city of miami and its soccer fans i would love soccer down here in miami and fifa would also . like that i think they will bring some exibition games here which some european clubs.
Let's bring MLS back to the real home of soccer in this country, South Florida! The Strikers proved what a great market this is for the beautiful game over 30 years ago- let's not allow the Fusion's failure (which BTW was changing when the plug was pulled) cloud our chances of getting another team.
Florida, especially south Florida is a hotbed of soccer. This true especially in the Hispanic community, but is continuing to gain strength in suburbia as well. I live 3 hours away from Miami, but would still attend 2-3 games/year if there was a team Miami, or Tampa/Orlando for that matter.
Yes, we need soccer in Miami. The key is actually having it in Miami and not Ft. Lauderdale like the last team. That was a big mistake. Build a stadium at the Orange Bowl site.
Hell ya. What better city to have a professional soccer team in than Miami! We have representation of every South, Central and North American fan base here. Let's do this!!
