i disagree with the whole we must smoke it, but its been shown in other parts of the world where its legal, there are less users in those parts of the world than where it is legal
How can we be so contradicting of ourselves to say that you have a diverse altered mind when smoking marijuana, then when you are drunk of alcohol? More deaths, fights and mis-condoning behaviors are repressed when on alcohol then i beleive on marijuana. We have the right to smoke tobacco and kill ourselves while they make their money when marijuana still remains illegal? Why stand here and do nothing while we can stand up and do something!
If you had a pair of twins. One you told to drink all there life and the other to smoke weed. The drinker would die of kidney problems or kill someone driving drunk but yet there is not one bad effect that one happen to the other that was related to weed. I know that he government doesnt want to make it legal but a lot of peoples lives get destroyed because they are caught with a harmless bag of grass. Even adults would admitt that they dont mind smoking marijuana if it was legal.

Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol. Sometimes, one can wonder if marijuana is illegal because of the middle working class. These are the people who suffer the most with these stringent marijuana laws. I believe society would benefit from legalization. We could tax it, regulate it, and people could stop getting a felony charge for a non-violent offense. This is haunting to the rest of a person's life and career.

Mary Jane isn't the dangerous gateway drug people make it out to be...it's the poor man's drug...no offense, but it is easily found and available in reasonable quantities for small prices as most drugs go. Not to mention no death toll EVER recorded from smoking it, and I've never really met a violent stoner, just hyper one's, but they all eventually get the munchies :)

As everyone has said, the legalization of marijuana is no doubt one of the best things for our country. Legalizing this herb would make law enforcement crack down on harder drugs that need to be surpressed and leave the people who want to smoke alone. When I'm smoking I wonder, who the hell am I harming by doing this. If it damages your body, that is your own choice to take. Unlike the commericials, if you pay attention while driving, the likelihood of crashing is 50 times less then when you're drunk. Let people live how they want to live. Maybe if the leaders of our country sat down and smoked a fat L we would be much more peaceful.
