Please Allow Matt Rogers to Tour

In reading a recent article written on the Entertainment Tonight website dated March 29th, 2004 and entitled "Broken 'Idol' Matt Rogers on the ET Set", I learned that the American Idol tour will consist of the top 10 finalists and the option of adding the two other finalists in the top 12 as producers' choice invite. This petition is to request that the American Idol producers allow Matt Rogers to tour with the rest of the ten American Idol finalists. Matt Rogers placed 11th out of 70,000 contestants. Week after week, fans of Matt Rogers, and American Idol in general, were blown away by his charm, charisma, talent, and personality. Matt Rogers proved that he was a class act by creating one of the most memorable exits in American Idol history. His outgoing and energetic personality would be an asset to the tour and enhance the jovial and fun loving nature of the tour. As the top ten currently stands, there are only three males on the tour but there are seven females. Adding Matt to the tour will add another male singer that is desperately needed to balance out the gender of performers on tour and will bring more people to the concert who prefer hearing a male singer over a female. Not only is Matt a valuable asset to the production of the tour, he is also a crucial part of the profitability of the tour. Again, the people who sign this petition respectfully request that you place Matt Rogers on the American Idol tour. Thank you for your time.
