Recently stores have been banning the words "Merry Christmas" to say "happy holidays" instead! And I think this is wrong considering Christmas is the time Jesus Christ was born in the manger! not the time Cicuit City & Walmart made another million

I support this petition because most more than 70% of this country celebrates Christmas. Have we gotten so politacally correct that we people get offended over the word Christmas? Our country needs a swift kick in the pants!

I have had it with stores saying Happy Holidays, and with advertisers on television saying Happy Holidays. It is not a Holiday Tree it is a Christmas tree darn it. If stores do not have their employees saying Merry Christmas, I boycott them! And stores that ban the Salvation Army are corrupt!

As a foreigner I spent last Christmas in the US an felt very strange, as people in stores used the expression Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. I am just happy it hasn't yet come to this in my country.

I support this petition. I'm sick of all the anti-Christmas talk while all the extensive Christmas marketing being done. I wish there was a list somewhere of all the stores that are anti-Christmas so I won't go to them anymore.

Hello? As children it was always "Christmas Vacation". During this wonderful time of the year we say "Merry Christmas". The holiday only exsists in the first place because we as a Christian Nation are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. If one does not believe in God, so be it, but don't ruin it for the vast majority in this country that do!

This may be a little late, but I want to keep the "Christ" in Christmas. It's our God given right to do so. If you don't believe in Christ, then don't ram your religeon down our necks. In fact, if you don't like it, then go back to your own country where you can worship whatever it was you worshiped over there so we can just continue to wish everyone else a "MERRY CHRISTMAS" at that time of year. I get offended when someone wishes me a happy holliday.

I support this petition. It only takes ONE UNHAPPY person to ruin everyone else's CHRISTMAS,We as a people need to take a stand, and not allow this to happen,We are being told what to not to say, what not to think,CHRISTMAS is not a polical hoilday,But the birth of Christ,And we as americans, have the right to celerbrate Christmas as WE choose,Not what other people don't want us to.HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS,AND A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHLY NEW YEAR.
