They want the people to vote on the repeal of term limits. The example used is the problems they had balancing the 2008 budget. IF you run you better know how. Your platform gennerally boasts experience.

Interesting Information for People Who Live In Michigan...

1. Our state Congressmen and Senators are the 2nd highest paid at $79,650 in salary. This does not count their $20,000 expense account and state supplied transportation. Wouldn't it be nice to get a free tank of gas plus a free car to drive to and from work? Oh, and don't forget the free insurance. Paid by the people of Michigan. Only California legislators make more and get more perks.

2. Our teachers are the 3rd highest paid teachers in the country. While education in the state of Michigan is less than appropriate.

3. Our cigarette tax is the 4th highest in the country. (God please don't let them increase alchohol. )

4. Our Corporate Income Tax rate is the 7th highest.

Funny how we don't have enough money to pay our bills and the only answer is for us to pay more in taxes. Now let's see, if taxes go up on services wouldn't a smart business person increase their price on goods to offset their increases in taxes? So we are getting screwed both ways. All the while our public servants are getting fat on our sweat!
