I beleave that cannabis needs to be leagal. The plant is natural unlike other drugs. It isnt near as addictive as a cigg and all of the lies ppl have been feeding are all garbage. alcohol has more negative side effects than cannabis, with alcohol you are actually killing brain cells, your liver, and in the morning you have a "hangover" wich to me is a very mild withdraw. There are no such things with cannabis. The only negative side effects to smoking the plant, is that you get 6x more tar in your lungs than with a normal cigg, but with the help of a vaporizer that can be fixed. I support this petition because when my father was stricken with terminal lung cancer they gave him every pain medication legally possible. Nothing helped the pain. Not even Methodone or Oxycotone. And if it did help in any little way he could not eat. Marijuanna helped relieve his pain and actually gave him an appetite, which he did not have in result of the chemo-therepy. He told me that he actually felt better when he smoked a marijuanna cigarette. If that was the only thing that made him feel better why not legally give him that satisfaction as he was dying. My father is now gone and I miss him so much.
He did not touch anything stronger than that so there is no misleading in regards to Marijuanna being a "Gate-way drug." I use it myself now and then just to somewhat enjoy this hell I live in. Life is not soppose to be what someone tells you it is, but what what you enjoy while you live it.

Hopefully this petition will reach 10000 I think marijuana is benificial and it helps people relax in a much better way than coming home and drinking a half rack of beer and becoming a risk to everyone. Why is Marijuana not legal but cigarettes are they are much more harmful to your health.
