As you may know, Canada has refused to sign on to the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (along with the US, New Zealand, and Australia, which has since signed). I'm not sure about Israel; the Palestinians might or might not be "indigenous people," but the Bedouin certainly are.
This kind of event makes it quite clear why Canada refused to sign.
I support this petition. this is they way to smear the canadian history and tradition, this is the last thing one can imagine ,the museum of civilization supporting the ethnic cleansing ,where would that fit in Canadian's values and tradition

The demolition of the villages of Imwas, Yalu and Beit Nuba [my own hometown] and our expulsion from our homes is a war crime and the role of the JNF of Canada in building Canada Park on the ruins of these villages, with Canadian tax-deductible dollars, indicates Canadian complicity in this war crime.
The Canadian Museum of Civilasation shoul not allow its name to be associated with indirect support for this war crime.
I support this Petition. Canada should work to expose Irael for what it raely stands for: ethnic cleansing, murder, oppression, torture , genocide, human rights abuse, no dignity to human beings, cheats, the worst that a humans have achieved. Israel is basically a terrorist state.
The JNF's articles of incorporation are blatantly racist, and the majority of land the organization controls was stolen from the Palestinian people. It is time to expose the lies!
I support this petition. I am outraged that any reputable institution would allow its premises to be used to raise funds related to the ethnic cleansing of native inhabitants. SHAME.
To have such a dinner in any Canadian institution means supporting an organization that is dedicated to the dispossession of another people. The JNF is anything but civilized.
JNF is the beneficiary of ethnic cleansing, and pursues a residential property-management policy of "Jews only - no non-Jews allowed". The JNF promotes intolerance, conflict and misery.
Our federally owned institutions should not be used to host the events of an organization such as the Jewish National Fund which discriminates against the Arab population of its country. Israel's values are not Canada's values!!
I support this petition. The JNF does not represent me as a Jew, but still has the "chutzpa" to call itself the Jewish National Fund. There is nothing Jewish about confiscating land for Jews only.
As a Jewish Canadian and someone who believes in basic notions of equality, I am shocked that the Museum of Civilization would allow its facilities to be used by an apartheid institution. Haven't we learned anything from South Africa?
