I support this petition and hope that the one's who have now have to respond to it are not afraid to stand up for justice. Because this is what it is about, fairness and justice. Very simple.
Canada's Museum of Civilization should be particularly vigilant to avoid ensnarement in multimillion dollar rebranding projects aimed at concealing the racism and dehumanization inherent in present day colonial aggression in the Middle East. What good are rentals for the magnificent Great Hall if it means that the museum sells its soul?
Imagine: if New Brunswick or Southern Ontario had been confiscated by the USA thanks to an entity called the American National Fund... Would it be acceptable for the Museum of Civilization to host a fund-raising dinner for the 'ANF'?
