This petition is to protest the spaying and neutering of man's best friend. These animals are living beings with strong sexual drives. Who are we to decide that they should have their sexual apparatus totally decimated through sadistic operations?
I have had many dogs and in the early years I had these operations done to "fix" my dogs. Sally was one such pet...she was always blue after the operation; Spike lost all interest in life. Now I have a young Collie named Biblia. Biblia has not been operated on and she enjoys a healthy active sex life. I give her canine birth control pills acquired through a pharmaceutical lab in Singapore. I think everyone should take such measures and not deprive man's best friend of what is clearly one of the greatest pleasures in life.
The development of the canine condom has been another momentous development. While your dog might not have the fingers and opposing thumb required to put the canine condom on, it takes little effort for doggie's human friends to assist in the applying the canine condom just prior to your dog's romantic interlude.
So consider that before taking the sadistic step in mutilating your dogs' sexual apparatus.

I lived back in the 1960s and I remember the giddy days of the sexual revolution. I request your support in helping to bring about the Canine Sexual Revolution.

I support this petition. It really is cruel. Imagine if you were still a kid and one day your parents decided to get you \"fixed\" or what not. I bet you wouldn\'t like it in the slightest. I\'d say dogs should make the choice but.... yeah they can\'t talk.

Bit dangerous that tho, what happens if the condom splits, then you get all the mongrels. Plus I don\'t want to be touching a dogs c*ck. Let the males keep their fun bags and get the *****z tubes tied. That way you wont have to put up with her psychotic mood swings every month and no horrid blood to mop up. It\'s a winner.

I support this petition. yeah I witnessed the same mood dive in my first dog .. he never came back out of it or got his energy back he just layed around all day long and hated going outside and absolutely hated other dogs .. in fact he went from a happy fun active dog to a miserable grump that didn\'t have any desire to do anything but eat and sleep. I guess its cause he was a non sporting breed which are bred to never lose their energy or are less likely too.. he was also overweight a little.

I don't support this Petition. I think if you are going to take care of your dog and you don't neglect it, you should be able to choose whether or not they be fixed... You have to take care of them, so you should decide how to care for them...

I support this petition. I have show dogs/house pets. I want to RESPONSIBLY breed them at some point in the future, but not right now. But, even if I wasn't showing, I don't believe it's right to just spay and neuter animals across the board like some people think we should. The problem with overpopulation lies in the irresponsibility of people I wouldn't even call 'pet owners', not with true pet owners who take every precaution with treating their pets right and taking excellent care of them. Responsible people and their pets should not be punished by the actions of a few or many morons, many of which I believe I've glimpsed on this petition!

I don't support this petition. There are so many animals out there that keep having babies, and there are so little people out there to take care of them. I would rather see animals get fixed then treated badly. Unless there is someone out there who will take care of all these animals this petition is uselessss...and many loving animal owners can not afford to give these birth control pills for their animals lifetime

I support this petition. One because it is what they are born with. And second because how do you think it makes them feel. They end up gaining weight and losing interest in everything. What if someone did that to you!? What if someone came in and stole your man/woman hood while you were passed out. You'd hate it!

I do not support this petition. Speying and neutering dogs ensures a healthier, longer life. It also reduces the chanves of behavioural problems. Average Jo can't afford or doesn't care about providing any form of contraception, let a lone forking out for birth control pills for their dog. I think the idea is great in theory but I don't think it could be put into action adequately.
