Since more than 20 years, Nintendo have made many Videogame platforms and all platforms have good names : NES, SNES, Famicom, GameCube, Gameboy Advance, etc...
And their next platform will be called... Nintendo Revolution !!! YUCK PUUUUKE !!!!

I heard Nintendo officially said it was going to be called the Nintendo Nplay. Which would actually make sense. I'm not completelt sure but we'll see at E3.

Nintendo RS is fine by me as it goes alongside the Nintendo DS, but Revolution is sort of blowing their own horn.

FYI, I found a whole mess of articles that said its going to be called the "Nintendo RS". With the RS standing for either revolutionary screen, Or revolutionary system. P.S. Fuck Sony

I think revolution is a good name... Expecially when you compare it to "NES". There's nothing good about that name, but for some reason you support that!

you are dumb. the revolution is an awesome name seeing as how its onimatapeic. the revolution really is revolutionary and nintendo wouldn't care if you had 10k signatures because you don't know anything about advertising or market research or anything. you suck. get a life and stop critising nintendo. nintendo is the best ever and they could never make a mistake (the virtual boy incident was the consumers fault).

It's called Project Revolution, so currently it's only a codename. Either way I like the name, it fits well seeing as what they have been doing the last 20 years is revolutionizing video games.
