We would like to submit this petition on behalf of the Northwestern University undergraduate students who have a desire to pursue more advanced study of the Korean language. Those who have signed below are students who have been or currently are a part of the Korean language program, or students who have passed out of Korean I and II who would like to take the next level of Korean language or Korean literature. They support the addition of Level III and IV Korean language as well as Korean literature, Korean literature in translation, or other Korean historical and cultural classes to the Northwestern University curriculum. Should upper level language or literature classes be made available, these students would very likely be interested in taking such courses during their undergraduate career.
