During the Vietnam War,many people too young to vote were forced to die in another country. Following that PR train wreck, the powers that be lowered the voting age to eighteen, supposedly to allow those most effected by the draft to vote on it the next time and let their feelings about it be known. Well, its the next time folks. And guess what? Theres no ballot saying "yes/no" to the draft. The president is not asking us what we want. Hes simply going to make the same damn mistake again:send a bunch of youthful individuals who have no choice in the matter to die in another country. Only this time, there actually is one small thing to be done about it. VOTE AGAINST BUSH!

And please make your voice heard! Email or write POLITE letters to the people in charge of this country, let them know how you feel!

Whats wrong with the draft? all it is is just forcing men into a form of legalized slavery where people must sacrafice their lives for a cause that they often don't even believe in. (please note the sarcasm)

The draft is slavery and a violation of human rights. No one should be forced to murder others, maim others, be maimed, be killed, or witness such.

I have been a soldier for over 19 years. I have watched this country collapse upon itself for the last 15 years. If you don't want to stand up and fight for this country. Then stand aside and ride the Freedom Welfare Train. This has to be done, end of story, if you don't want to fight, then stay the F*&k out of the way and I don't want to hear you opening your big mouth about it either. Someone has to pay the cost of freedom and you obviously aren't strong enough to fight for the freedom that you expect. Well then fine, I hope that it sinks into to your liberal skull that by not fighting, you have caused someone else to pay the debt of freedom in your place. Have A Nice Day Protesting!

This country is stupid if it actually wants to take our lives and die for someone else's COUNTRY...NO THANKS!!! I dont even think a person should die for a flag...because thats all they'll give your family when youre DEAD!
