Interesting, everytime I see a rock fan trying to compare their music to rap, the only thing that they are only able to come up with is that "they play instruments" and that "it talks about real issues". Now I don't know what makes them stupid enough to believe the filth that comes out of their own mouths, but I am here to explain why indeed rap is greater than rock: 1. You want to talk about real issues? Alright, For as long as I have compared the two different music genres, I have heard of more songs in rap that actually relates to real life issues than I have from rock. Songs like 2pac's "Keep ya head up" where he talks about life can be hard, but just hang in there and eventually it'll get better, Black Eyed Peas "Where is the love" where it relates to our society right now hell bent on war but in reality we should just all have peace and not continue to fight over stupid shit, Ludacris f/ Mary J Blige's "Run Away" where they discuss about kids living in a difficult household that runs away, and Eminem's "Mosh" where he was telling people that voting was important, and even though the video might seem more of an Anti-Bush campaign, the message was loud and clear, "VOTE FOR THE RIGHT PRESIDENT"! Now compare those songs to let's say AC/DC's "Highway to Hell", Metallica's "Enter Sandman", Motley Crue's "Girls girls girls", and Lynard Skynard's "Sweet Home Alabama".
