I strongly disagree with this petition. I think the government needs to learn to live within its means. Especially during this hard economic time. Use current funds being collected for drug prevention and treatment not another tax increase!

I support this petition. If Oregon had legislators who were truly stewards of the public's money, there would be plenty for alcohol and drug treatment programs without imposing a draconian tax of one of the few remaining profitable industries in Oregon.

This beer tax is a terrible idea. When Oregon is at the highest unemployment rate it's been in years, we don't need to tear down one of our most successful industries. Anyone who votes yes on the beer tax, I will not vote for you.
