I support this petition. We need to stop using styrofoam! The Presbyterian Church (USA) has started a campaign to get all its congregations to stop using styrofoam cups on Sunday morning. Some churches are even encouraging people to bring their own mugs from home every Sunday.
I guess today's society only cares to make a quick buck no matter how it effects the planet. How could our highly knowdgeable population destory the only thing that we live on. If we keep our primitive ways, our children won't live out their lives.
I support this petition. There is no reason why to this day we are not using the tech advances we have! We know a lot of the things we are using are hurting the environment, lets be proactive!
i support it ppl fully, itz so true, u kno da styrofaom cups the more liquids stay in it the more the chemical reactions happen in it? making the liquid in it dangerous to our health?
because I enjoy life and think that we should try to clean up as many of our mistakes as we can before we really screw up the earth for generations to come.
I support paper cups vs. polystyrene... but they havn't used CFC's to make styrofoam cups since the 80's... styrofoam containters actually leach molecules into your consumables- and act as an estrogen - this is called a hormone disrupter - and can cause cancer.
