So far, I've played SC2 on GC and xbox. I've enjoyed both versions and got SC2 for my Gamecube. I even got a Multiplatform Soul Calibur 2 Joystick... Now that you gave SC3 to Sony, I won't be able to get it. Buying a Playstation 2 these days is pure madness ! Who would buy such an old and crappy console when the next generation is comming up ? What's the point of releasing a game for 3 consoles and putting the sequel on 1 ? I'm not buying namco games till you give us multiplatform SC3.

Soul Calibur is a damn great game series but it'll never be good enough for me to own a PS2 for. Are you stupid Namco? The GC version outsold the PS2 version despite the PS2 having a rather larger user base. No, we don't have any actual 'right' to play this game but please wake up and release your games on the systems where they will be most appreciated. Becthya if you brought out Katamri Demacy on the GC it'd outsell the PS2 version too.
Bring the game to the other consoles. How can you do this to the fans you made with Soul Calibur 2? Please don't deny those of us without a PS2 the ability to play this game. Also, it is a bad move to remove the exclusive characters thing that you had in the previous one. Introducing it then taking it away will cause you to lose fans and then you will in turn lose sales. Unfortunately for you, if you want to make a profit you're going to have to stick with it. I will not buy any Namco games until Soul Calibur 3 is released on the other two consoles.

Let me clarify, though. I don't personally care about Tekken being only on PS2, since it's always been that way, but when you take a series like SC and only put it on one system, you're crossing the line.
When Soul Caliber II came out, I remember that the GC got Link and the XBox got someone else and so did the PS2. If I can remember, the first Soul Calibur was on Gamecube (well thats what I think but Im not sure because I don't have a GC or whatever system the first one was on).
I won't play any Soul Calibur/Namco games (I shall resist) until equilality for all owners for different game systems will come for Soul Calibur 3.

Hey Namco, please read this, look I have a GameCube and a Xbox and no PS2 but c'mon can't you just please release Soul Calibur 3 for GC and Xbox! I mean PS2 sold the least, the PS2 is the crappiest, the Xbox is the most powerful system so you just make use of the most powerful system, plus you can do much more on the Xbox then the PS2, hell GameCube has better graphics and better hardware then PS2, Plus Xbox live is alot better than PS2 online much better, plus if you can do more on the Xbox for instance enhance the graphics, better frame rate, shorter loading times, you can but more stuff on the Xbox hardware memory and if the game would be better on Xbox and if it turns out to be a great game people will buy this great game, people buya great game more money for you people at Namco, And yeah i'm a Xbox fan boy if you couldn't tell already, and for the GameCube it sold the best annd well the Xbox is the most powerful and you'll get the Soul Calibur 3 your trying to make more better than on the PS2 and well the PS2 is just an out dated machine in my oppinion. Just think about what I said and hopefully you'll regain everybody's respect as a developer or publisher, just reconsider please. Thanks for your time.......please!
I know Namco u will never read it OR even care to read our comments... But seriously, atleast make it be released on GC and XBOX... I dont care if i need to wait like 5 months, just PLEASE dont make it exclusive, or i will believe you are the stupidest Asians.
Namco, plz release this multiplatform. I for one do own a PS2, but i belive it unfair for those who do not and love the Soul Calibur games. We all know that Namco can make this multi platform easily. I very much wish that you will make this for the PS2 users as well as XBOX and Gamecube. A lot of people are not willing to buy a whole new console just for your game. Please help the other console users by making it multi platform.

You think we bought SCII on Xbox because of Spawn and on GC because of Link? Well, if you only have one console, that doesnt matter! I dont caee about link, but i only have gamecube, and im NOT BUYING this game on PS2 because I dont have a PS2. As much as I want SCIII, im not buying a new console for it!
Your producer says that namco was successful with bringing new audiences to the Soul Calibur series by going multiplatform with SCII. Now u decide to take the III away from thse new fans you made? You think this is a smart move?

I was excited about Soul Calibur until I saw that it was ps2 exclusive (the most problematic version of the game for soul calibur 2). Please reconsider releasing this game for the xbox.
Namco you can make this game really shine on GC and XBOX. Why hurt our industry by making this game only for the least capable machine? Give us a choice Namco. Delay the GC and XBOX versions a few months, whatever, just give us a port of this game. Otherwise, I don't need any games from you ever.
Namco, is so silly. They know they can make these games multi-platform in 10 minutes, though they don't decide to. They are just fooling themselves, in a very stupid way. Losing millions of dollars, on Soul Calibur, will serve them right if they don't make this Multi-Platform. By the way, no one likes SC on the PS2. It's much better on the GC and the X-Box. There probably will be a riot of gamers, who will hate Namco for life. I swear to god i'm not buying a single game from them, like it says on the info.
I'm pretty sure Sony paid a good amount of money to get this exclusive. And I'm sure there are other reasons such the early release of next generation consoles. But the fact is that Soul Calibur II was incredibly successful in the Gamecube, whether it was due to Link or not, the point is: it sold.
You can be sure that even if the Revolution is released by then, Soul Calibur III will sell well. It's a promise from this gamer, take it into account and you will have a happy fan.
the concept of sc3 being only on ps2 blows. So far all tourneys of sc2 have been held on xbox console and now you deny the peopleof the box the priviledge of this game. Have fun getting your game pirated and sold for five bucks a piece.

I am sure there is some compelling reason (politics, payoffs, etc.) for Namco to deny the GC and Xbox SC3. However, I think Namco needs to look at the bigger picture and look out for their fans (the people who are solely responsible for their business) and not their corporate "buddies".
