Ok sorry GC fans, but true to my petition title, they are not punk, not even emo or pop-rock. They produce the same kinda music all these ****ing pop bands like BSB, N sync produce. PLEASE.... If ANY of you GC pussy lickers deny, honestly tell me, are songs like "I just wanna live", "We believe", "girls and boys" "punk"? I mean, those guys dress all "goth" and "punk", yet their music sadly proves that they are the most poseur-ish band EVER.

So, GC will NEVER reach the heights of talented REAl punk bands like the sex pistols, the ramones, bad religion, penny wise, anti-flag or rancid will EVER be.... Cuz music from them, are not played on mainstream radio stations. REAL punkers, are underground. : P

Even emo does not even come CLOSE to the type of **** GC produces.

To Punk King: Actually, the Sex Pistols WERE punk. It was their manager, Malcolm McLaren that used them as puppets and got money off them. The Sex Pistols were a huge influence. They took on England. They did some pretty rebellious stuff, it wasn't about the money. Rotten wanted justice in England. He wanted to shock the whole country with controversial lyrics. Malcolm McLaren is the asshole to blame for their selling out and whatnot. With money aside, they were definitely punk.

i think everyone has got a diferent opinion of punk.No one knows what real punk is because it has changed so much over the years.but gc's music is not punk i would have to agree.Gc'z lyrics are alright tho.they are quite meaningful.but other then that there music is shit.
