Nuno Gomes has been wrongly left out of the Portugal Squad. It is outrageous that such a talented and valuable player will not be playing. Perhaps after a reminder of Pauleta's many attempts at goal, none of which actually went in, some reconsideration may be possible...

it was hard for me to stand your position of lefting Gomes out of the squad so i realy want to see Gomes in the team again. THIS message is from Ethiopia far from portuguese but everybody loves Gomes to play for portugal again.

Nuno should have played. I'm really disappointed that Scolari has once again let Pauleta stay on for so long - has nothing been learnt since Euro 2004? Nuno on - Pauleta off!

i support this... nuno gomes is an oustanding forward and one of the best ever to play for portugal pauleta sucks hes playing alot and never finishes the ball unless its and empty net. hes a hog and he always misses the net nuno gomes has so many goals for the little time he plays and i think the coach for portugal scolari sucks

Oh my god!!!! How could they let him out of the team. He's the best player of Portugal(a specially the HOTTEST in the world). Ohhh If I could get my hands on than nosy scolari..... So I really hope the won't shot him out of the team. It won't be the same without Nuno Gomes, it would be such a shame===> Portugal's team would be a DISASTER in football!!!!!
