NO ONE THIS EARTH can get more attention to the plight of puppy mill animals than you. Some of the worst are in Lancaster, PA run by the Amish. No seems to care, no wants to get involved. Please get involved for their sake.
Oprah, you and your show are so popular, you could make a BIG difference to a lot of people who view by exposing the sickness of puppy mills on your show. Please help the animals who can't help themselves - please help condemn those that make these innocent animals suffer because of human greediness. Please?
Oprah, so many people watch your show. It would be such a wonderful thing for the animals if you did an expose of puppy mills. The general public just has no idea how horrible puppy mills are and how much the cats (yes, there are kitten mills, too) and dogs suffer. Please help.
I do a lot of rescue work, puppy mills are a HUGE part of the problem. For the same price people can find a dog from a reputable breeder. If a kennel has more than one litter a year they are a PUPPY MILL. The dogs live horrible lives and are sold as if they are shoes or jeans, not living things.

There are sooo many people who don't know about puppy mills. As consumers, they have a right to know what they are paying big $ for. PLEASE do this piece, for the sake of both dogs, and humans.

You do so much good work but these puppies are being over-bred for profit and need your help. Millions of animals are dying in shelters across the country every year because of over-breeding and places like puppymills where they only care about money and not the animals' welfare. Please help educate the public about this!!!
Oprah- It's important to talk with Brad Pitt about how cute he is, but exposing cruelty, death and inhumane conditions that animals are living in is not? I know you have more heart and smarts than that.

Please do this show! There're are so many puppy mills out there! The mom's are forced to breed continously regardless of thier health. The puppies and their mom live in their own filth, aren't seen by veterinarians, and have never been socialized, trained or loved! The world needs to know how these puppies and their moms are being treated!
Dearest Oprah, NO ONE can help the animals get the exposure that YOU can. Not many people have world~wide respect and can reach such an audience. I belong to 2 nation wide rescue groups and we can only do so much. We need your help and more importantly the animals need you. God Bless

I watch your how on a daily basis. I always walk away with a much broader picture on many issues you present. Most importantly, I walk away knowing more and power is knowledge. Animals and the rights of animals seem to always be left behind the scenes. We need stricter law enforcement as they can't speak out for themselves. Please help us help them.

I know you are a dog lover, I have seen your beautiful Cocker Spaniels many times. Can you imagine the puppy mills that force these dogs to have litter after litter without proper medical attention or care where their puppies go? Lots end up in kill shelters and are euthanized. Lots end up in unhealthy homes who ignore or abuse them. These animals can't speak for themselves so we must help them. Animals are important too and these people just don't treat them as they should be treated. Can you imagine if one of your dogs were treated this way? Please consider doing a show about puppy millers. Thank you!

Being purebred does not guarantee a loving lifetime home.The conditions in which these dogs and puppies live and breed is not acceptable in a society which claims to be caring.
It seems the whole world watches your show, Oprah. 60 Minutes did a piece about Puppy Mills and not many people saw it.
If you did a show exposing this horrific practice, I know it would make an impact and put most of these unscrupulous people out of business.
There is nothing more I can say that others on this petition have not already said. We come to you for the exposure you can bring to this issue. Adult dogs are bred over and over again in filthy conditions and then practically left for dead when they are no longer useful to the back yard breeding scheme. Please open the door to this issue and help in opening people's eyes. Thank You for your efforts.
Please help us. We received 17 Golden Retrievers from a puppy mill in Arkansas. Their condition and lives have been horrid and abusive. They've lived outdoors in all weather and have had little or no vet care. It will take them months or years to overcome this lifestyle. The public needs to know.

Please bring this to light on your show that reaches so many. Puppy mills need to be shutdown. Too many dogs are euthanized due to overpopulation caused by the unscrupulous owners who are only out for profit and care less about the animals.

You are one of the most power full women in the country. If anyone can do this it is you. We know you are an animal lover so please help! Also we need to change legistlation so people who have puppy mills (or any other animal) need to be prosicuted to fullest extent. Because you know once they get caught they will just turn around and do it again. It makes me sick to know there are people out there who think this is OK to treat animals that way.
