Teach people how to treat animals and explain that they are not objects that should be mass produced. We don't mass produce children and abuse them without caring...all mankind should be respected.

We really need your help with this VERY worthwhile cause. Your name carries a lot of weight(although YOU don't...what's up with that, girlfriend?!) I implore you to look into this. I've seen you broadcast much less meaninfull, nonetheless, newsworthy stories, but this is a very serious one, even if it may not be considered NEWSWORTHY. There are lives at stake here even if they are animals. That must mean something to you. PLease help. I(we) would be so grateful for ANYTHING you can do to further this cause.

Please, please help to stop these atrocities...the dogs live in such deplorable conditions and lead a life no one should have to. so many dogs in shelters and rescues..do not let people continue to make a profit in such a manner...RESCUE a dog in need...do not perpetuate puppy mills!!!!!
Your show reaches millions and they need to be educated about puppy mills before they make the same mistake I made. I bought my dog from a puppy store and only later found out she was a puppy mill dog. She started showing bone problems at only a year old. The vet said she had the bones of a 5 year old dog. Please educate the public about the crimes committed by puppy mills.
Please Oprah, you as a dog lover yourself can realize the horror of puppymills,and what damage they do to our beloved dogs. Please please do something for them by exposing these puppymills, especially from the Amish in Pennsylvania, and other places. This is so cruel and it seems to be getting worse. Help us get out the news of these horrid mills.
This is a HOT topic; witness the dog that Paris Hilton got and talked to Jay Leno about on his show; it was from a Puppy Mill and so sick she spent thousands on it to make it ok for now!The public needs to know.
Millions of dogs are euthanized every year in animal shelters while these immoral people are producing animals for profit. Please encourage people to get dogs from shelters, rescue groups, or REPUTABLE breeders.

I will never be able to STOP this

position until laws
are put into place
outlawing breeders
from selling sick,
deformed, unsocialized dogs.
They all end up in
rescue or killed in
the gas chambers at
the local animal
dumping shelters.
Ms. Winfrey, celebrities can often reach the public when others cannot. Would you please consider a segment on puppies and expose the terrible situation with puppy mills. This is a practice that must stop.
Just ask the Animal Cops in NYC, how many animals get put to death each year, simply because they are homeless? Pet overpopulation must stop; the public will listen to you.

I implore you to help to bring this very serious matter to the attention of the American public. Puppy Mills are a dog's living hell and they must be stopped forever. No living creature of God should ever have to endure their pain and suffering. Please use your voice to stop them.
