Please do a show on this! You have no idea how many poor innocent animals are suffering out in the cold and the heat, everyday of their pitiful sad lonely lives. To be trapped in tiny cages, with NO LOVE, no attention and usually no vet care of any kind, for their whole miserable lives. You have the ability to reach the public about these horrors. Please Oprah, do this for all of God's suffering little ones out there who do NOT have their own voices. They only have US to help them.

it is completely ridiculous what people do to animals, think about what they may do to our children if they did not have dogs to do this to! please help these poor helpless creatures that God has put on this earth for people to love and take care of not to abuse.
Oprah, please help to expose this horrible practice. Dogs are kept and used as breeding machines, then killed when they can't have any more litters. Many of the puppies are born and sold ill or with genetic problems from in-breeding. This is cruel. We owe our best companion more than this.
I've seen dogs that come out of puppy mills and the adults are miserable and completely ignorant to people and the puppies are usually unhealty later in life. We need to stop this!
Please use your influence to address a particularly horrendous practice of puppy mills. If people were aware of the inhumane practices in puppy mills, I believe they wouldn't support them. Education is the key, as with all things, with the proper information people can make better choices. Thank you for helping with this issue.
Puppy Mills in the US are many...Cruel and filthy. Humane Societies and various dog rescues are overflowing due to irresponsible breeding. Mention the importance of spay/neutering both dogs and cats while you are at it please.
Please expose the puppy mills, and at the same time, emphasize better places to get pets...Greyhound Pets of Americas (and other rescue leagues), ASPCA, and other adoption groups. There are way too many animals that need homes that puppy mills should be put out of business. I'd so much rather have these older animals find homes, but for those that desperately want puppies (or kittens), we should recommend certified breeders. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
I have own dogs my entire life, they are the sweetest beings on this earth. They are always there when everyone else is gone. What these puppy mills do to this precious angels is very, very sad and they need to be exposed.
As the founder of Green Mtn Pug Rescue in Vermont- we see the aftermath of these poor pugs from puppymills. they have fractured jaws, infected ear tatoos, broken bones healed wrong, the worst dental teeth possible, afraid of any hand, never knowing what a toy, treat and loving voice is! PLEASE HELP US nationwide shut these places down!!

If you own a dog then you know that like humans they have emotions. These puppy mills can traumatize them for life. We rescued our dog and there is nothing better than a rescue dog but I wonder sometimes what she went through before we saved her. She always has these really bad puppy dreams and it makes me feel sad because I know that dreams are a product of past experiences.
Puppy mills and backyard breeders need to be exposed. Illnesses and deformatives are common in dogs bred for greed.
Innocent dogs live painful lives and
families spend thousands of dollars to treat hereditary problems.
Please help expose puppy mills. As the owner of an ex puppy mill stud the story needs to be shared. He is completely blind and was heartworm positive. He had served his purpose and was dumped at a kill shelter. This goes on every day.
I once made the mistake of buying a puppy at a pet store. After taking the puppy to the vets, We found out that the puppy had numerous health problems that lead me to spend more money for the care of this puppy than if I had bought a puppy from a reputable breeder. The dog is now eaight years old and still suffers from some of these health conditions.
Someone needs to put pressure on these puppy mills to stop. ALSO people need to be aware of the problems with strays. If you love your animal, please do something to prevent unwanted puppies/kittens. We have three dogs, two were stray's and one was from the pound. We also have a cat that was a stray. It's unfair to animals not to care for them!
Oprah, as a fellow dog lover, I'm sure you would agree that puppy mills generally do not care about the welfare of their breeding stock. They are primarily interested in making money and the animals are the ones who suffer. Please take a stand on this issue and enlighten the rest of the country!

Those of us involved in rescue see the end result of puppy mills first hand ut the average person doesn't. It is time they knew about what goes on at the puppy mills. What happens to the mommy of the cute puppy I just bought a the pet store?
