When Oprah Talks, People Listen! Please Ms. Winfrey, I am sure you receive thousands upon thousands of requests for help/support, but only us "humans" can speak for the voiceless animals! Your voice will be heard.

You do good things for so many people. I volenteer with many people who do good things. I work with IMP a foster care program for Miniature Pincshers. My family alone have taken in a least 50+ dogs and nursed them back to health and adopt them out. Most of our dogs come from puppy mills. This has to stop. I have a dog in my home now that was kept in a rabbit hutch for 8 yrs and breed until she was no longer able to. She had no name just a number tatooed in her ear. No one touched her or played with her. She was in need of vet care and almost died. We cry every time we pick one up and we cry every time we find a home. Please help us stop this horrable pratice and shut these places down.

I run a non-profit small dog rescue and see the results of these dog torture chambers. Please expose them, for the sake of the sweet cockers like yours who are suffering in the heat, cold and exposure with no food or medical care.
Make the puppies' and dogs' "Wildest Dreams Come True" and save them from this inhuman treatment. Eighty percent of Americans buy their pets from pet stores and breeders - many of which are involved with puppy mills. Please help the animals - you have the power.
I work with a rescues group and it is just unbelievable all of the things people will do for a buck. We picked up one of our danes from a shelter that had been pushed out of a car on a parking lot because she was no longer usefull to litter pups anymore. Its just really sad, please help spread the word.
Please help them Opra. with your vast knowledge of what is going on in the world, help us expose thes little pals and make abetter future for all of them . You can do it through your vast contacts. Ask and some one will show you photo's of the abused pets.
Oprah, you have the power to make people listen. You are a champion of so many worthy causes, surely our furry friends deserve a few minutes of your attention. Thanks for considering this issue.

Ophra, Give these animals a voice. The public needs to be educated on what happens in puppymills. In Ohio it has become a big money maker with the Amish and these dogs are being auctioned. We are ignorant to the truth and it needs to exposed. Please stand up and become the voice that makes a difference. At the end of the day when you hug your pups, these dogs do not have this luxury, they have never been hugged.
I know how important of a person you are and I feel that you would be doing a great deal of good to the dogs. Not only that, but educating the public not to buy ANYTHING from a shop that sells dogs. Please help them.
I know there is plenty of human misery in the world, but at least those people have voices. Oprah!! People listen to YOU!!! Please help shut these puppy mills down!
Hi Oprah, I am a longtime volunteer for PAWS Chicago. You may know its founder, Paula Fasseas, Vice Chairman of the Metropolitan Bank Group in Chicago. Paula would be an excellent person to have on your show exposing the horror of puppy mills. Paula is on the forefront of making Chicago a no-kill city and by exposing puppy mills you can become a part of that effort. San Francisco is the first US no-kill city. Let's make Chicago the second! Dave Duffield, founder of Peoplesoft, started Maddie's Fund in which funds are awarded to cities based on their plan to have No More Homeless Pets. Sounds like the making of a great show!
I DONT KNOW HOW A HUMAN CAN DO WHAT PUPPY MILLS DO. IF PEOPLE REALLY KNEW WHAT GOSE ON THERE THEY WOULD STOP THESE ATROCITIES. I HAVE A RESCUED PUPPY MILL DOG HE IS PITYAFULL. HE LAST 3yrs HAS BEEN A LIFE HE ALWAYS DESERVED. DOGS ARE GODS CREATURES TOO.
Please use your positive influence to help this cause, Oprah. Just look into the eyes of your furbabies and realize that there are love muffins like them suffering in these horrible places.
I have adopted a puppy mill dog and her life could not have been much before we got her. I also, work with a local Chicago Midwest Rescue. I highly recommend the OPrah contact Amanda Putnam with Midwest Shiba Inu Resuce, located in Chicagoland. The influence that public exposure to this horrible practice would be very helpful in both ending puppy mills and those who buy from them and from millions of dogs and cats be euthenized daily because no one wants them etc...
As a daughter of a puppymill rescuer, I can tell you first hand the terrible conditions that these dogs and other animals live in. We need to stop this insanity
Please help educate people about the horrors of puppy mills and pet shops. The more the word is out the less animals live lives of misery. I have had a puppy mill rescue and know first hand the emotional scars they carry.
Your viewing public knows how you adore your many dogs...share the love. Please have your researchers look into this dreaful problem & consider a progam that could help so many innoscent animals from lives of pain.
Puppy mills must stop, not only for the cruelty but the expense to philanthropical organizations trying to save these animals. Be a responsible pet owner, adopt a rescue!
please help expose these criminals and hurting and destroying the lives of these harmless animals. I do dog rescue and have seen the damage that these people have done to innoncent animals. You have the power!
Please, please, please show the world the cruelty that these poor creatures are forced to endure. Education is the only way that these prisons can be shut down!
