I find it incredible what people will do for money sounds to me more like puppy prostitution. Oprah I appeal to your heart and caring spirit please expose this for what it is
Oprah, you, as a lover of animals surely must be disgusted by what these millers do. I work in animal rescue and I find it appalling as I'm sure you do. Your show reaches across Amwerica...please expose these dastardly people people for what they are...cruel and heartless.

There's no reason to have puppy mills, we don't need any more "Pure Breeds" with the number of Pure Breed dogs that are available from shelters or rescue groups. Just in my small City, there were over 7000 dogs killed yearly.
Oprah, Puppies are as helpless as a baby. They need people like you and us to give them a full and happy life. They were put on this earth for enjoyment not for man to abuse them.

You are an obvious dog lover. It makes sense that you would want to expose the atrocity of puppy mills. Help people make informed decisions, reduce the number of puppies being euthanized. Puppy mills do not breed quality pets only quantity.
Unfortunately this is an issue that is all too common and all too ignored. As long as ignorant people continue to buy puppies bred in these horrendous conditions, puppymills will stay in business. Please, educate the public and protect dogs as well as dog buyers from the abuse,suffering, and genetic disease that is caused by the unethical breeding of these poor animals.
Two shelters at 8135 Berry
Road, Bonne Terre MO 63628; housing as many as 40 cats in each of them; these shelters are roughly 40 foot buildings with dirt
floors and no heating of any kind except for a few light bulbs for the cats
to keep warm by! The person that owns this property holds a 501c3 non for profit rescue license! She does adoption every Saturday and Sunday at the Chesterfield Petsmart! Animal hoarding/neglect is not only a crime But also a illness! My guess is there are laws in Missouri governing how and
how many animals that a person can house on their property! Also there is
rumors of another shelter that was built on someone else's property that
fosters for The St. Francois Society in Bonne Terre that is also not license
as Animal Care Facilities by Dept of Agriculture! On this property there has
been rumors of puppies freezing to death at this location! I have photos if you want to see!
Oprah, please inform the masses about what is REALLY going on with puppy mills. Take away people's ability to claim ignorance - make them admit to pure greed when breeding and selling pets for profit!
There are so many animals in shelters, that get put to sleep every year because they do not have homes. Why allow these puppy mills to comtinue. They are inhumane.
The way these puppies are being treated is inhumane. No person, let alone a defenseless animal, should be subjected to such cruelty. Simply put- This just isn't right. Something has to be done.

Oprah, I think that the more the public knows the better. Most people don't realize the results of buying the cute little puppy in the pet store. How many thousands of dollars they could spend on vet bills because the puppies parents weren't genetically tested, and the heartbreak of putting a puppy down because of a genetic disease. Please help educate the public.
Oprah, I feel this would great help pet over-population. Just call a couple of shelters and ask them how many animal they must put down and I'm sure puppy mills form a big foundation to this problem. Thanks!
As a rescue volunteer for 4 years, I harbor nothing but the greatest of discust for the millers, the pet stores and the people who are so stupid as to buy their puppies from a pet store. These dogs are usually sick and cost the owners may times the price of the dog, which is exhorbitant to begin with. In many cases these puppies die. Why there has not been legislation to close down these millers is beyond me. Please help the thousands of dedicated rescue volunteers nationwide and expose this situation for what it is. THen maybe we can "lose" our jobs and be happy for it.

I used to be a breeder of miniture daschhounds. I know that there are alot of puppy mills where the breeders just don't care. It is unfair to the animals. The puppy mills MUST BE STOPPED. Please help us in doing this. And let us give animals a fair chance at a decent life. If it was a child, something would have been done already. I t is time for this Country to understand the effects of Puppymills in the PET OVERPOPULATION. To see the filth, weather conditions, How the breeder thinks of and treats their dogs. They are in it just for the money without a care about the dogs. I can go on and on about this subject. It is time that the Polititions and those in the spotlight put an end to this. Visit an Animal Shelter ans see the end result of it. It is so very sad.
Please help to stop the cruelty of people "pretending" to love animals and "pretending" to help others get their perfect pet. . .these animals have no one else but those of us who care about kindness, and being humane. Cruelty to animals is just as bad as cruelty to people--and far worse because people say, "Oh how terrible!" but who DOES something? Oprah, with the millions of viewers that you have this would be a great way to educate an unknowing public as to the horrors that go on in these places. If we could just close down one of these places it would make a huge difference.

I do rescue work and I have seen the horror that thease babies endore please help all us rescue people out there and all those poor mill dogs and puppies look into thier eyes they need you!!

Oprah, please bring to light the horrible puppy mills. Many people get animals from them because it's cheaper and don't even realize what they're doing or getting in return. These animals often have severe problems and should have a better life. Please help! Thank you for your consideration.
This is one of many animal issues that you could bring to the attention of the country over the course of your shows. After all, more and more, it is becoming evident that how people treat animals influences how they treat other people who are weaker or more vulnerable. Cruelty to animals measures a persons character and "human -ness". Even if you personally do not own a pet or consider yourself an animal person, the message of simple kindness to all living creatures and basic rights of freedom from fear and pain is one worth spreading. please help eliminate part of my job! I have seen the horrid lives these poor dogs have to live in, I could tell you stories that would curl your stomach, they live in and eat their own feces to survive.living in dark boxes only seeing light when the pups are taken so they can breed more,even the amish are into it, And the worse part is our government supports them with usda, liscencing them!This is a discrace to our morals as a country.

Save the puppies, please expose the puppy mills. There are great breeders out there and you can find a puppy, but not throught puppy mills. Very sad to see the dogs used in these places
The general public for the most part is uneducated about where that cute puppy at the pet store really comes from. I fully believe that if they did, then the majority would choose not to support puppy mills, and that's where you can make a huge difference.
You have the power to educate millions of people and help millions of dogs that suffer in puppy mills, with only an hour long show.

Animals having litter after litter is equivalent to a woman getting pregnant as soon as she is able to over and over again. It's healthy for people so how good can it be for the animals. Please help the animals.
Being involved with PETA I have seen at first hand actual footage of these horrible places!! Its needs to be exposed to Americans the a majority of dogs sold at pet stores for LOTS of money are from puppy mills.
